SUSTAINABLE SOURCING TO
PROTECT FORESTS WORLDWIDE
.
A WORLD WHERE FORESTS AND FASHION CAN
COEXIST IS POSSIBLE
The Fashion Forever Green Pact is a call for the fashion industry—brands, retailers and manufacturers alike—to take immediate action to ensure responsible sourcing on behalf of the world’s forests. Commitment is
the catalyst for industry-wide change. It’s time for less talk, more action.
THE PROBLEM:
AN UNCERTIFIED SOLUTION
The fashion industry’s current sustainable textile alternative comes from man-made cellulosic fibres (MMCFs). MMCFs are the fastest growing share in global fibre production. However, over 50% are sourced from uncertified forests, leaving them vulnerable to deforestation and illegal logging.

Other natural materials, such as rubber and cork, are also in high demand. They too act as a renewable, forest-friendly choice – but only when sourced responsibly. FSC certification is a proven solution in verifying supply chain commitments.
